‘Ok with rape, murder also,’ asks Kangana Ranaut amid ‘slapgate’
New Delhi, June 8
Moments after actor Shabana Azmi came out in support of Kangana Ranaut who was slapped by a CISF lady constable at the Chandigarh airport, the newly elected Lok Sabha MP has asked people condoning the incident whether they are also fine with rape and murder.
“Every rapist, murderer or thief always have a strong emotional, physical, psychological or financial reason to commit a crime. No crime ever happens without a reason, and yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail. If you are aligned with the criminals strong emotional impulse to commit a crime violating all laws of the land. Remember if you are ok with breaking in to someone’s intimate zone, without their permission touching their bodies and assaulting them then deep down, you are ok with rape or murder also because that’s also just penetration or stab only, what big deal…” Ranaut said on X.
She asked people to look deeper into their psychological criminal tendencies.

“I suggest please take up yoga and meditation or else life will become a bitter and burdensome experience, don’t carry so much grudge, hate and jealousy please, free yourself,” she told people agitating against her and rallying behind CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur.
On Friday, the central security force’s top officer Vinay Kajla, who is the DIG, CISF, Airports (North Sector), had termed it as an “emotional outburst” for the woman constable.
“It was an emotional outburst for her. She is apologetic about the incident. Her husband, also in the CISF and posted with the dog squad here, has been given two-three days to recollect himself after the incident,” the DIG had said.
Kulwinder has been booked under Sections 323 and 341 of the IPC.
Kajla said Kulwinder was deployed in the frisking zone on Thursday while Ranaut was passing through an adjacent area.
