Lok Sabha witnessed repeated adjournment on Thursday after Opposition members came to the House wearing T-shirts with slogans written on them.

Both Question Hour and Zero Hour proceedings were washed out as the Lok Sabha witnessed two adjournment.

Speaker Om Birla immediately adjourned the House till 12 noon after admonishing opposition members, especially those from the DMK for wearing T-shirts bearing slogans "#Tamil Nadu will fight #Tamil Nadu will win" referring to the ongoing tussle between Centre and Tamil Nadu government over the three language formula implementation under the National Education Policy and the delimitation exercise.

Later when the House reconvened at 12 noon, Krishna Prasad Tenetti, who was on the chair, adjourned the House till 2 pm, as opposition members were seen protesting in the well wearing T-shirts with slogans.

Earlier Birla while adjourning the House till 12 noon, had admonished the members for violating the traditions and dignity of the House by wearing T-shirts inside.
