New Delhi, July 24
Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday found himself defending the Union Finance Minister after Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge hurled a “Mata ji” jibe at her.
“Mata ji will speak later,” Kharge said referring to Nirmala Sitharaman, 64, just before leading an opposition walk out of the House alleging discrimination with non-BJP-ruled states in the Union Budget presented on Tuesday.
