Modi government completes 11 years in office, Congress takes a dig
The Congress on Monday claimed that with 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government in office, every sector in the has only nosedived leaving economy ‘flopped’ and foreign policy ‘spoiled’.
Taking to X, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged PM Modi of ruining the country.
"11 years have gone by with this government turning big promises into ‘empty claims’. The Modi government has ruined the country in such a way that the talk of good days has now turned into a nightmare," Kharge said.
Referring to several sectors, the Congress chief claimed, "Youth — Promise of two crore jobs annually, in reality crores of jobs have vanished. Farmers — Income did not double, on top of that had to face rubber bullets. Women — Conditions imposed on reservation, security in tatters. Weaker sections — Horrible atrocities on SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, share ended," he said.
He also said the country's economy has also been hit as inflation is at its peak and there is a flood of unemployment. Furthermore, consumption at a standstill, Make in India ‘flopped’ and inequality is also at its peak.
He targeted the PM Modi's foreign policy saying, "Promise was to become a ‘Vishwaguru’, however, relations with every country got ruined.”
Targeting RSS, the Congress chief said, "as far as democracy is concerned — RSS attacks every pillar, misuse of ED/CBI, autonomy of institutions ruined.”
He added that every section of 140 crore people is troubled in the country, saying "this has been the lotus symbol in 11 years!!".
