After the mother filed a complaint, officers from the Vakola Police Station launched an urgent investigation. Tracing the child’s movements, they tracked her to Panvel. A police team reached the location, rescued the girl on November 25, and brought her safely back to Mumbai.

An officer was seen comforting the child with chocolates before she was reunited with her mother.
