Need for synergy between C-DOT, armed forces: CDS

New Delhi, January 12

With warfare changing rapidly amid reliance on electronics and communication, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen Anil Chauhan, today visited the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Delhi campus, a telecom R&D centre of the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said General Chauhan “stressed the need for better synergy between the C-DOT and the three wings of the armed forces.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
