The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the successful conduct of NEET-PG on Sunday. The examination was conducted in two shifts at 416 centres spread across 170 cities. Admit cards were issued to a total of 2,28,540 candidates.
The board said candidates were given examination centres within their states, whenever possible. “To ensure smooth conduct of NEET-PG, the board had set up a central command centre at its Dwarka Office, Delhi,” a statement from NBEMS said.
As many as 1,950 independent appraisers and 300 flying squad members were deputed at the examination centres to monitor the conduct of NEET-PG. Eight regional command centres were also set up to supervise the conduct of the nationwide examination. The board also monitored social media to counter the spread of any misinformation during the conduct of the examination.
Several aspirants, who took the exam in the morning shift, said the question paper was moderate. Kunal Kishore, who took the exam in Delhi, said, “The difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate in the morning shift. Twenty per cent of the questions were tough.”
