The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday said it had added 14 exam centres abroad for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG). The NTA had earlier announced 554 centres across India, but no exam centre were allocated in foreign cities.

The newly centres would be in Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lampur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Singapore.

The agency also said that the candidates who had already selected the exam centre in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres would now have the opportunity to correct the centre and country during the correction window period.

The correction window opens after the closure of the registration window. However, a differential amount will have to be paid for changing exam centre to any foreign city.
