‘Newest tech trend? Edible smartphones’; Anand Mahindra’s video on kids being addicted to gadgets goes viral

The chairperson of Mahindra Automobiles, Anand Mahindra, shared a video on X and wrote, “Oh no, no, no…. It’s true. Our species have irreversibly mutated. It’s now PHONE, and only AFTER that Roti, Kapda aur Makaan!”

He tries to point out the addiction of today’s generation, especially of infants, to gadgets. He sarcastically says that phone is such a necessity that even food, clothes and a home come after that.
The video shows an infant picking up a rusk from a plate and instead of eating it he puts it to his ear as if he were using a phone.
Within a short time of being posted, the video garnered over 54k views and 1.8k likes.
Some very interesting comments popped up.
