NIA attaches properties of Pak-based Dawood gang’s operative in Gujarat
In a significant move aimed at dismantling the terror ecosystem of the Pakistan-based D-Company gang, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has attached two immovable properties belonging to an arrested operative of the gang, Mohammad Yunus (alias Manjro) in connection with the 2015 Bharuch double murder case.
The properties were attached under Section 33(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), following orders from the NIA Special Court in Ahmedabad.
The attached assets include Yunus’s residential house located in Bharuch city of Gujarat, covering a total area of 143.96 sq m, and an adjoining property measuring 29.59 sq m.
Yunus was arrested for his alleged involvement in the targeted killings of BJP workers Shirish Bengali and Pragnesh Mistry in Bharuch in November 2015.
