The Prime Minister wished Azad a speedy recovery as he recuperates in Kuwait where he had arrived Sunday as part of the Indian multi party delegation travelling across Muslim nations for the Operation Sindoor outreach.

The delegation was assigned to Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Algeria.

Chairman Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and former Chief Minister of J&K Azad, who has been ailing for three days, was admitted to Kuwait's Royale Hayat Hospital yesterday. He had posted late on Wednesday that he was feeling better.

"Blessed to share that despite the extreme heat in Kuwait affecting my health, by God’s grace I’m doing fine and recovering well. All test results are normal. Thank you all for your concern and prayers — it truly means a lot!" he posted on X.
