Father Robinson, public relations officer of the CBCI, confirmed the Prime Minister’s attendance. Speaking to The Tribune on Saturday, Father Robinson shared, “The Prime Minister will be attending the celebration on Monday, where there will be speeches, carol singing and a dinner.”

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, formed in September 1944, is a permanent association of Catholic Bishops in India. Its primary objectives include facilitating coordinated study and discussion on issues affecting the church and promoting a common policy on matters concerning the church’s interests in India.

Last year, PM Modi also hosted a Christmas celebration at his residence in the Capital, continuing the tradition of fostering goodwill and unity among different communities during the festive season.
