Pondicherry University’s 28 faculty members featured in ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists List’

Pondicherry University felicitated its 28 distinguished academicians and researchers who were featured in ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists List’, an annual global ranking released by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier Publishers. The ceremony was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof P Prakash Babu, who congratulated the awardees and presented them with commemorative trophies in recognition of their outstanding contributions to research and innovation.

The Vice-Chancellor lauded the achievements of the awardees, describing them as “the intellectual torchbearers who illuminate the path of inquiry and innovation for others”.

The 'World’s Top 2% Scientists List' is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive databases of influential scientists worldwide, assessing researchers across various disciplines based on standardised citation indicators.
