Pradhan: No language imposed under NEP

Amid heated debates in Parliament over the National Education Policy (NEP), Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday defended the policy, asserting that no language has been imposed under its framework. “The world is discussing multilingualism, yet we are caught in unnecessary debates,” Pradhan said, addressing concerns raised by opposition parties.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
