Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday gave a call to bring back Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a third term in office, saying that people had an option either to vote for the NDA’s development and nationalist model or for parties like the Congress which “indulge in dynastic politics and were involved in scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore”.

Addressing a rally after inaugurating several development projects in Silvassa in Daman and Diu, Shah said elections would be held in the country next month (March) and he had come to appeal to the people to vote for the BJP and bring back Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time.

The Home Minister went on to say that Modi’s guarantee was providing cooking gas to poor women, houses for poor families as well as giving free ration to them.

The Prime Minister, Shah said, had done things which had never happened in centuries, like getting the Ram Temple built and abrogating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Central Government had almost ended Left wing extremism and terrorism, while the opposition INDIA bloc was only thinking about dynastic politics, the Home Minister said.

“These people cannot do anything for you, whereas a son of a tea seller has made India proud globally. It was under Modi’s government that a tribal woman, Droupadi Murmu, got elected as the country’s President and the OBC commission got a constitutional status. By 2035, India will have its own space centre and will also host the Olympic Games in 2036,” Shah said.
