Rolls-Royce Marine North America and Indian firm Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration on 4MW marine gas turbine generators (GTG) for India. The agreement covers key areas such as design, development and manufacturing of marine GTGs, along with comprehensive sales and support activities. According to a statement from Rolls-Royce, more than 350 Rolls-Royce gas turbine generators are currently operational with navies worldwide. In India, Rolls-Royce has established a strong aerospace and defence ecosystem, with its engines already powering several Indian Navy and Coast Guard vessels.
