The family has a strong Ambedkarite legacy and RS Gavai, the CJI’s father, had embraced Buddhism along with Dr BR Ambedkar in 1956. The RSS will hold events in 150 cities to mark its centenary year.

In every such city event, local level influencers will be chief guests as the RSS gears up to embark on its Hindu consolidation pledge in the centenary year.
