Sanjay Jaju I&B Secy, Apurva gets health
New Delhi, February 3
The government on Saturday appointed Sanjay Jaju, a 1992-batch IAS officer, currently serving in cadre state of Telangana, as the Secretary, Information and Broadcasting. Jaju will replace Apurva Chandra who has been named the Health Secretary.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) appointed retired IAS officer Sukhbir Singh Sandhu as Secretary Lokpal on contract basis for one year. Ashish Bhutani will be Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
Raj Kumar Goyal has been named Secretary, Border Management. Legal Affairs Secretary Niten Chandra will now be Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, and K Moses Chalai Secretary Inter State Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Home.
Anil Malik has been appointed as OSD, Ministry of Women and Child Development and will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, after Indevar Pandey superannuates on February 29, a DoPT order stated.
