A court on Friday granted bail to AAP leader Satyendar Jain, arrested in May 2022 in a laundering case, citing “delay” in trial and “long incarceration”. It said the ED could “no longer be permitted to wish away” precious years of an accused’s life.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
