The Opposition is also likely to raise a commotion over several issues, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in several states and the air pollution in Delhi.

Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury has filed an Adjournment Motion to discuss the BLO deaths during SIR.

"This House should take up for discussion the grave and unprecedented reports of deaths, suicides, and human rights violations of Booth-Level Officers (BLOs) engaged in the Election Commission of India’s ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The coercive workload, impossible targets, and unsafe working conditions imposed on BLOs have resulted in multiple casualties across states, raising serious concerns regarding their safety and welfare," Chowdhury said

She also alleged that a large number of genuine voters are reportedly finding their names missing from the electoral rolls during the SIR process.

"In view of the alarming loss of life, the humanitarian crisis faced by frontline officers, and the threat posed to the integrity of the electoral process, it is imperative that the House urgently suspend all other business to discuss this matter of definite, urgent, and public importance," she said.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh has demanded a discussion on the issue, alleging arbitrary deletions, BLO deaths and disenfranchisement.

Speaking to the media, Congress MP Ranjeet Ranjan said the current air pollution is a very serious issue. "I am fortunate that my zero hour is on pollution and we want the House to run... The AQI is shooting up and people are falling ill... We want at least a day-long discussion on this and a mutual solution," she said.
