Veteran Congressman and former governor Karan Singh, on Friday, said no one should hesitate to attend Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya after the Supreme Court judgement in the matter.
Singh said he had received an invitation to attend the January 22, Ram Mandir consecration ceremony, but would not be able to attend on account of ill health at 93 years of age.
Singh released a statement in which he said that he had contributed Rs 11,00,000 towards the construction of Ram temple.
He also said that his family’s Dharmarth trust would celebrate in a grand event at Jammu‘s Raghunath Temple on January 22.
Singh added that he would organise celebrations at the Ram Mandir on the Lodhi Road in New Delhi.
His veiled reference was to the Congress party and its top brass deciding to decline an invitation to attend the ceremony.
