Vice President's Secretary Amit Khare named Sansad TV CEO

Amit Khare, Secretary to Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, has been given additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of Sansad TV.

A Parliament of India notification said the governing council of the Sansad TV has decided to give Khare additional charge as Sansad TV CEO “with immediate effect and until further orders”.

He will take over the charge from Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh, whose extended tenure in Lok Sabha ends next month.

Under former VP Jagdeep Dhankhar, Sansad TV management had raised many eyebrows with sources long signalling an overhaul.

Khare, a retired bureaucrat who served as secretary higher education and secretary Information and Broadcasting, has earlier been Advisor to the PM in the PMO.

He was appointed Secretary to VP upon the election of CP Radhakrishnan.
