Rao Inderjit leads Tiranga Yatra in Rewari, lauds Operation Sindoor
Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh on Sunday led a Tiranga Yatra in Rewari to honour the courage and valour of the Indian armed forces following the success of Operation Sindoor. The event saw spirited participation from citizens, ex-servicemen, youth and women.
The yatra commenced at Maharana Pratap Chowk and concluded at the Shaheed Smarak (Martyrs’ Memorial) near the Mini-Secretariat. Among the dignitaries present were MLAs Laxman Singh Yadav, Dr Krishan Kumar, and Anil Yadav, BJP district president Vandana Popli and former minister Dr Banwari Lal.
Addressing the crowd, Rao Inderjit said, “Operation Sindoor is direct proof of the Indian government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.” He praised the operation as a bold statement of India's military prowess and strategic precision.
"This is the new India — an India that enters the enemy’s den to eliminate the masterminds of terror," he said. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear: any act of terrorism will be treated as an act of war and will be met with an equally strong response."
The minister emphasised that Operation Sindoor sent a resounding message to the world. “It is not only a demonstration of India's military strength but also of our unwavering commitment to protect our sovereignty and citizens,” he said.
Rao further said, “This operation has proved that Indian forces are fully capable of facing any threat. The blow delivered to Pakistan is not just a military victory, but a reaffirmation of our national resolve.”
He called the mission a turning point in global recognition of India's strategic thinking and defence capability. “It stands as living proof of our military strength, precise planning and the bravery of our soldiers,” he said.
Concluding his speech, Rao urged citizens to remain committed to national unity, integrity and dignity, saluting the Indian armed forces for their sacrifices.
