Speaking on the occasion, MLA Anand emphasised that no effort would be spared in ensuring the all-round development of Karnal. “Our aim is to ensure overall development to every corner of Karnal,” said Anand.

He noted that a provision of Rs 400 crore had been made in the Municipal Corporation’s budget for developmental activities. The MLA credited Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership for the steady pace of progress and reiterated the commitment to benefit even “the last person in the queue”.

Anand underlined the importance of transparency and accountability in the execution of public works. Informative boards displaying the details of ongoing development projects—including costs and contact numbers of the officials concerned—have been installed at project sites. “If citizens have feedback or dissatisfaction regarding any work, they are encouraged to reach out via the contact numbers provided or inform me directly,” he added.

Mayor Renu Bala Gupta stated that the development of the city remained their top priority. “With support from CM Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and MLA Anand, we are consistently executing development projects in Karnal,” she said.
