The J&K administration today released two former MLAs Hakim Yasin and Ashraf Mir from detention. They were arrested on August 5 in wake of abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state into two union territories.
Initially, they were detained at SKICC and later shifted to MLA hostel. They were released from the hostel today. Three former Chief Ministers and many other mainstream politicians continue to be under detention since August 5.
