Expressing satisfaction over the large number of devotees participating in the yatra, the L-G said he expects more pilgrims to arrive in the remaining days. “I had said that the success of this year’s Amarnath Yatra would boost tourism in Kashmir. So far, around 3.45 lakh pilgrims have had darshan, and we are hopeful that many more will come,” he stated.

Sinha interacted with pilgrims, service providers, langar sevadars, sanitation workers, medical staff, and administrative, police, and security personnel deployed for the ongoing yatra. He assessed department-wise arrangements including logistics, lodging, disaster management, healthcare, and other facilities established along the travel route and at the yatra base camps on the Pahalgam axis.
