Srinagar, June 25
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted multiple raids in J&K and detained a 14-year-old boy and two others for “having links with militants”.
The sleuths searched 14 locations in Srinagar, Baramulla, Pulwama, Anantnag, Budgam and Kathua districts and seized some digital devices in connection with a case related to conspiracy by terrorists to target minorities, security men and pilgrims, an NIA spokesperson said.
In Srinagar, a Class XI student was detained along with his father at Ali-Kadal locality for questioning. In Beerwah area of Budgam, ex-militant Syed Fayaz Ahmad was arrested. In Bandipora, NIA men raided the houses of Abdul Majeed Dar of Chek-e-Ganastan and Owais Ahmad Sheikh of Bankoot.
