Srinagar, July 16
As Kashmir is seeing spurt in coronavirus cases, J&K has roped in laboratories outside the UT for more testing.
Apart from the already designated three testing centres in the Valley — SKIMS, Chest Disease Hospital and SKIMS Bemina — the authorities have roped in three laboratories in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Hyderabad.
According to government officials, 1,100 tests from Baramulla, Anantnag and Shopian will be sent for testing to Modern Diagnostic and Res Centre, Gurugram, Haryana, 1,000 samples will be sent from Bandipora, Pulwama and Srinagar to Krsnaa Diagnosis, Pune, Maharashtra, and 1,000 tests to Patcare Labs Private Ltd, Hyderabad. — TNS
