33 police officials transferred in J&K

In a major reshuffle in the Police Department, the Home Department of J&K on Monday transferred 33 officials. The transfer order was issued by Raj Kumar Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary.

The administration transferred Shivam Siddharth, who was awaiting adjustment, and posted him as Superintendent of Police (SP), North Jammu.

SP Ranjit Singh has been posted as Deputy Commandant Armed Police 8th Battalion. Azhar Bashir Baba, Additional SP of Police Security, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as SP PCR, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.

Arif Amin Shah, SP (Headquarters), Srinagar, has been transferred as Deputy Commandant Armed Police 9th Battalion against available vacancy.

Naresh Singh, Additional SP, Shopian, has been transferred and posted as Joint Director (Headquarters), SSF, Srinagar. Vivek Shekhar Sharma, Additional SP, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IR-15th Battalion.

Feroz Ahmad has been posted as Additional SP of police at Pulwama. Tanweer Ahmad Dar, Additional SP, Pulwama, has been posted as Additional SP of Kulgam police.

Similarly, Farhat Jeelani, Additional SP of police at Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant Armed Police-14th Battalion against an available vacancy.

Shabir Ahmad, Additional SP, Kulgam. has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant Border Battalion, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.

Vishal Manhas, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Staff Officer to Inspector General of Police, Jammu, against the available vacancy. Hilal Khaliq Bhat, also awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SP at Hazratbal-Srinagar.

Fahad Tak, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant, IR-10th Battalion, against the available vacancy. Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather has been posted as SP West Srinagar. Shah Umar has been posted as SP (Headquarters), Srinagar.

Baljit Singh, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Additional SP, Udhampur. Ghulam Mohammad Bhat has been posted as Additional SP Kupwara and Aejaz Ahmad Malik has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR 2nd Battalion against the available vacancy.

Ruhail Mircha, awaiting adjustment, has been made Additional SP of Police Security, Kashmir. Pardeep Kumar has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR 2nd Battalion against the available vacancy.
