Jammu, November 2

Six smugglers were arrested with 6 kg of cannabis and Rs 1 lakh in Udhampur district on Monday, officials said here.

Acting on tip-off, a police party of Udhampur intercepted a four-wheeler and two Scooties on the highway at Thard. During search of the vehicles, the cannabis and the cash were found and seized, the officials said, adding that six persons were arrested. — PTI
