Amid spike in Covid-19 cases across Jammu and Kashmir, the UT Administration today deployed 62 KAS officers (probationers) for assisting in coronavirus mitigation efforts.

According to an order issued by the government, the officers would be extending their services for containing the spread of the virus till April 30 next year.

“At least 20 KAS officers (probationers) each would be deployed in Srinagar and Jammu districts. The remaining would be deployed in Kathua, Anantnag, Rajouri, Baramulla and Udhampur districts,” the order said.
