The Jammu and Kashmir Government today created eight police stations of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and notified the territorial jurisdiction of these for the investigation of offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to an order, the Jammu police station will have jurisdiction in three districts, Jammu, Kathua and Samba. Similarly, the Doda police station will have jurisdiction over Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts.

The Rajouri police station will have jurisdiction over Rajouri and Poonch districts, while the Srinagar police station will cover Srinagar, Ganderbal and Budgam districts. The Anantnag police station will look after the cases of Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam.

The newly created Baramulla police station will have jurisdiction over Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara districts, while the Udhampur police station will cover Udhampur and Reasi districts.

The Central police station will look after the whole of Jammu and Kashmir.
