Jammu, February 6
In a bid to engage with public and listen to their grievances, senior officials of government will hold ‘Public Darbar’ in coming days. Administrative Secretaries of different departments have been assigned the responsibility to visit different districts and address public grievances.
A total of 32 Administrative Secretaries have been entrusted with the responsibility to listen to the public grievances.
Sheleen Kabra, Financial Commissioner, Jal Shakti Department, will listen to grievances in Udhampur on February 9 and Jammu on February 22, whereas Dheeraj Gupta, Financial Commissioner, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, will hold public darbar in Jammu on February 9 and Srinagar on February 21.
Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, will hold the meeting in Budgam on February 12 and Reasi on February 20.
H. Rajesh Prasad, Principal Secretary, Power Development Department, will meet the public on February 10 and 21 at Kishtwar and Shopian, respectively. Santosh Dattatreya Vaidya, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, will hold the darbar on February 13 and 21 at Pulwama and Rajouri, respectively.
Many other officials, including Akil Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Sanjeev Verma, Saurabh Bhagat, Mandeep Kaur, Prerna Puri among other will hold public darbar on two days at two different districts till the end of this month.
