In all, 21 polling parties left for Marwah and 12 for Warwan areas of Inderwal Assembly constituency of the district. Kishtwar is scheduled to go to the polls on September18 during the first phase of the Assembly elections.

Situated at an altitude of 12,500 feet above the mean sea level with challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions, the advance dispatch of polling parties is crucial for Marwah and Dachan having sole road access via Sinthan and Margantop.
