Another accused nabbed in Akshay murder case

Samba police have nabbed a murder accused, Sahil Sharma alias Gilka from Doda, who was involved in Akshay murder case of Ramgarh. Gilka had escaped from Ramgarh police station earlier. Six aiders of Gilka have already been arrested by police after a series of raids in Jammu, Doda and Samba districts.

Gilka, a resident of Vijaypur in Samba, has been arrested along with his six aides identified as Vishwajeet Kotwal, Sahil Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Prabhjot, Naresh Sharma and Rahul Sharma.

A police party from Ramgarh rushed to Doda on Saturday midnight and arrested Gilka from Premnagar in Doda. Gilka was arrested in Akshay murder case under Sections 302, 148, 149 IPC, 3/4/25 Arms Act and on account of his escaping from police custody, one more case under Section 224 IPC has been registered against him. Gilka has been involved in seven cases of heinous nature like attempt to murder, extortion, Arms Act, criminal intimidation and assaults registered in Vijaypur police station and Ramgarh.
