Army Public School (APS), Kaluchak, organised Jammu Cluster Rolling Trophy Painting Competition. Army Public Schools from across Jammu viz. APS BD Bari, APS Miran Sahib, APS, Jammu Cantt, APS Damana, and APS Sunjuwan, participated in the competition. The participants competed in three categories -Junior Level comprising of Classes III-V, mid-level comprising Classes VI-VIII and senior level comprising Classes IX-XII. The main thrust of the event was towards stirring the imagination of students in creativity.
JU core committee visits Bajalta
The core committee of JU Unnat Bharat Abhiyan comprising Dr Samridhi Arora, Dr Sarika Manhas, Dr N.Suresh Rao and Dr Hema Gandotra on Thursday visited Bajalta village, one of the five adopted villages by University of Jammu (JU). Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship programme initiated by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), with an objective to engage reputed higher educational institutions of the country for the cause of community services.
Players felicitated at CLUJ
Outstanding players of judo, fencing, pencak silat, chess and badminton of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) who have qualified for the Khelo India University Games 2020 were felicitated by Prof Anju Bhasin, CLUJ Vice- Chancellor. The games will be held at Bhubeneshwar from February 20 to 29. Vice Chancellor congratulated the students for their selection and wished them best of luck.
GDC felicitates winners
Students of Government Degree College (GDC), Jindrah, performed outstandingly in the recently concluded inter-collegiate wrestling and judo competition, which was organised by University of Jammu (JU). The college orgaised a function to felicitate the winners of the competition. Students of the college bagged three gold, four silver and bronze medals in the championship.
IIM Jammu leadership summit
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, on Thursday announced its first edition of the Leadership Summit which will be held on February 7 to 8. The theme for the summit this year will be “Leading India through innovation, growth and diversity” – with a vision to seek answers pertinent to Indian Economy, which aspires to be five trillion by 2024.The summit will be attended by about 50 corporate and public sector leaders from across the county.
