Jammu, December 24

Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Army Command, on Tuesday reviewed the overall security situation in the Kashmir valley.

Lt Gen Ranbir Singh was accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen KJS Dhillon. The Army Commander visited the formations and units along the Line of Control in north Kashmir. He was briefed by Commanders regarding the operational and logistic preparedness. The Army Commander extolled the troops for their alertness, high morale and relentless efforts in thwarting the adversaries’ designs in the harsh terrain.
