Amidst enthusiastic cheers, the Haribudha Football League was inaugurated at Seri Khwaja Football Ground in Poonch. The football tournament is being organised by the Indian Army at Haribudha village with the aim of engaging local youth in sports. Six teams from nearby villages are set to compete for the championship trophy.

The tournament was inaugurated by elders and prominent figures from the surrounding villages.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
