According to a government advisory, the Board has been told to modify its notification to provide for the self-declaration of the domiciliary status at the time of the submission of the online forms as per the new domicile rules, further stating that only shortlisted candidates might be asked to produce the domicile certificate at the time of the counselling. The advisory has been issued to set at rest any apprehensions in the minds of the candidates regarding the issue.
