Chenani-Patnitop roads open for traffic

The Chenani-Patnitop circular roads opened for traffic which were blocked due to snow and landslides.
The district administration, departments concerned, Gammon and NHAI, geared up their men and machinery to clear the snow and blockages and opened the road for traffic movement in a record time. The Subdivisional Magistrate, Chenani, along with the DSP, Traffi,c stationed at Patnitop monitored the snow clearing process and restoration of water and electricity in the area.
Patnitop recorded 2.5 to 3 feet snowfall and tonnes of snow was removed from the road by the snow-clearing machines. — TNS
