Concern on plight of Dogra Muslims in PoJK

Dogras living across the world have decided to rake up the atrocities being committed by the Pakistani army on Muslim Dogras of the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoJK) at internal forums and platforms.

This was stated by the president of the Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS), Gulchain Singh Charak, while addressing a press conference here on Friday.

“The ethnic Dogras-Hindus and Muslims, living on both sides of the Line of Control, are going to form a joint front to frustrate the evil designs of the Pakistani government to illegally annex the PoJK,” he said.

“Dogra Muslims of the PoJK, living in different parts of the world, have approached the DSS to seek the support of the Indian Government to frustrate the dangerous game-plan of Pakistan,” he said, urging the Government of India to come to the aid of democracy in the PoJK and fulfil the promises as per the parliamentary resolution of 1994 to retrieve the PoJK from the illegal occupation of Pakistan and let the people of that region also enjoy the fruits of democracy as in this Union territory of J&K.
