The DC of Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, and the Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Tashi Gyalson, visited the construction site of the new domestic terminal building at the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport in Leh. Cable tray installations in these buildings are also complete. In the terminal building itself, the RCC work has been finalised for all levels. Most of the work on interior AAC block is also done, and only some modifications are pending. The work on roof is nearing completion as 95 per cent of the bottom liner sheets has been installed.
Cable trays have been laid in the utility tunnel, which is also finished, and other essential structures, such as the STP have been completed. Excavation work is underway for the city-side terminal building roof.
