The Poonch district administration has initiated the disbursement of relief under the Security Related Expenditure (SRE) scheme to families affected by cross-border shelling. DC Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting to review verification reports and assessment documents, ensuring transparency in the relief process. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police and the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer. Genuine cases were approved.
