A four-member delegation representing Central Govt Pensioners’ Welfare Association (CGPWA), Jammu, and Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), J&K Regional Branch, on Monday held detailed discussions with the Deputy General Manager of State Bank of India, Jammu, Jayant Mani and other authorities demanding best possible services to the bank customers. An NGO, J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra was also a part of discussion.
Kuldeep Khoda, former DGP and President CGPWA, Ashok Bhan, former DGP and Patron of IIPA, J&K, BR Sharma, former chief secretary and chairman, IIPA, along with KB Jandial, former member, JKPSC, and president, Samaj Kalyan Kendra, were present during discussion.
They apprised the SBI authorities about the functioning of these three important non-political societies dedicated to the welfare of people through medium of their activities, including education of 120 hearing-impaired people.
“An in-depth discussion was held on various issues pertaining to pensioners’ welfare, banking services and the current scenario of banking and financial development in the region. The deliberations focused on strengthening coordination between the bank and senior citizen customers, ensuring timely redressal of pension-related grievances, and improving overall service delivery” Jandial said.
