A Delhi-Srinagar flight had to be diverted to Chandigarh international airport after it could not land in Srinagar apparently due to bad weather on Thursday evening.

The flight reached Srinagar around 8.40 pm but could not land, eventually heading to Chandigarh airport for a halt at 9.25 pm.

Srinagar received a fresh spell of snow on Thursday.
