Devender Rana enquires about cop’s welfare

National Conference provincial president Devender Singh Rana this morning visited Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital here and enquired about the condition of valiant Constable Bhom Raj of Jammu and Kashmir Police, injured in the encounter with terrorists at the Ban Toll Plaza on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
The doctors attending on the injured constable briefed Rana, saying his condition was stable.
Rana, accompanied by party leaders, including former MLA from RS Pura Gagan Bhagat, wished Constable Bhom Raj speedy recovery and lauded his valour and exemplary courage shown while tackling the terrorists. He expressed happiness over his miraculous escape in the encounter with the blessings of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, hoping that he would recover soon.
Saluting his bravery, Rana said in an informal interaction with the media present that bravehearts like Bhom Raj made the nation safe and proud. He praised the presence of mind shown by the police team in tracking down the terrorists and thus averting a big catastrophe. The force, he said, had again risen to the occasion in thwarting the ugly designs of the enemy. He lauded the action in neutralising all the terrorists in swift and brave action.
The provincial president said the people of the Nagrota Assembly constituency saluted the police, CRPF, Army and other security forces for their relentless, determined and brave fight against the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
He said terrorism had no place in the civilised world and time had come when a united and decisive battle was fought against this scourge. He said the people of Nagrota like other parts of the country stood by the nation and its valiant forces in defeating the nefarious designs of the enemy in all its manifestations.
