Ahead of Maha Shivratri, a Kashmiri Pandit social organisation, ‘Athrot’, screened a documentary for youngsters living in camps of Jammu to apprise them of their unique rituals, which are slowly being forgotten.

Maha Shivratri or ‘Herath’ as Pandits call it, is one of the biggest festivals of Hindus of the Valley, which is celebrated for three days. The documentary has been made to show the young generation about the way ‘Shivratri Puja’ is conducted and historical relevance of all rituals conducted during the three days.
