Party’s general secretary RS Chib released the list ahead of the first phase of elections. One of the most prominent names on the list, former minister Abdul Majeed Wani will contest from the Doda East Assembly constituency.
Former MLA Mohammad Amin Bhat will represent the party in Devsar, while former advocate general Mohammad Aslam Goni has been fielded from Bhaderwah seat.
The DPAP has given the party ticket from Doru to Saleem Parray. Besides, Muneer Ahmed Mir will contest from Lolab and Bilal Ahmed Deva from Anantnag West.

The party led by former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad had significantly reduced its activities after a dismal performance in the Lok Sabha poll.
