Her social service missions have been going on for almost two decades now. When the Covid-induced lockdown was imposed, she worked as a bridge among the stranded J&K citizens in other states of India, the rest of the world and government agencies throughout India to manage their safe return to their homes,” read the citation of the Award. The award was given by Paulias Korni, the Papua New Guinea High Commissioner to India.
