Samba police on Wednesday seized a dumper in the jurisdiction of Mansar police post, which was being used for illegal transportation and mining of construction material.

As per information, a police party of Mansar while performing routine vehicle checking at a checkpoint intercepted a dumper bearing registration number JK21F-6718 loaded with sand. During checking, the driver of the said vehicle failed to produce valid document and was found illegally transporting construction material. The vehicle was seized by police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba, for further action.
